Award-winning food, Beautiful destination
If it’s fine dining you seek, look no further than The Ollerod. This characterful restaurant-with-rooms is housed in a beautiful former clergy house that dates back to the 14th century. Its nine individually styled bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms, organic toiletries and the finest Italian bed linen. They’re charmingly decorated and perfect for a spontaneous night away or a place to rest your head after an evening of delicious food and wine.
In The Ollerod’s 3 AA Rosette restaurant, award-winning chef Chris Staines and his kitchen team create stunning dishes using the freshest local produce. And when they say ‘fresh’ they really mean it. Salad leaves are plucked right from the kitchen garden and fish arrives at the door straight off the local day boats. The result is an enticing menu that evolves in tandem with the seasons.
Maverick tip: During the summer months, The Ollerod’s terrace is a fabulous spot to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or two. But on a colder day, we suggest cosying up inside by the huge roaring fire and sipping on an espresso martini from the bar.
