Historic Great Hall, Totally Unique Venue
This great hall and former chapel dates back to the 15th century and was once part of a large, now-vanished manor house. Carefully restored by the Landmark Trust, space has been carved out at the Old Hall for bedrooms (sleeping up to five guests), a kitchen and a bathroom, but the living room makes the most of the great hall feel with a large arched window and views up into the oak roof.
You’re based in a small village, but the impressive Wells Cathedral is close by, as is Shepton Mallet, where the West Country’s largest antiques, vintage and collectors fair is held several times a year.
