Since opening its doors in May 2013, The Cornish Arms has flourished as a destination pub. Having been placed as one of the top 50 gastropubs in the UK within six months of opening, it has gone on to gain a Michelin Bib Gourmand and a myriad of regional and national accolades.
Head Chef John Hooker has held 3 AA Rosettes and competed on BBC 2’s Great British Menu in 2010 and 2011. He prides himself on his expert use of the best ingredients the South West has to offer and cooks in harmony with the seasons to produce classic dishes with big hearty flavours.
