Swain House isn’t suitable for children under 12, which makes it a good bet for an adults-only break. Recharge your batteries with walks along the nearby harbour or visit the vast Exmoor National Park stretching from Somerset into North Devon, which takes in heathland, cliffs and woods. Look out for Exmoor ponies or red deer roaming the landscape.
