This boutique collection of farm stays offers six stunning rooms and a myriad of creature comforts. Situated on the Whitehead family’s Dorset dairy farm, Outbuildings is just a short drive from the market town of Bridport but feels like a secluded paradise. Each of its rooms have been individually styled in a timeless fashion with beautiful furniture and high-quality fixtures sourced or crafted by the family themselves. But a stay at Outbuildings isn’t just about relaxing in your room, it’s about the whole experience. There’s a romantic Hay Barn Cinema where you can cosy up in a renovated sheep box and nibble on local snacks as you watch the silver screen. Their bookable ‘Bubbles in the Woods’ experience lets you soak in a woodland hot tub under the stars with a glass of Champagne in hand. There’s also a grown-up Enid Blyton experience on offer called ‘The Orchard’, where a gin picnic is accompanied by classic games, a fire pit, marshmallows for toasting and a Bluetooth speaker.
Maverick tip: If you don’t fancy cooking, Chef Mark Kick curates a seasonal menu on Mon, Wed & Fri (6:30pm & 8:30pm) in The Cart Shed dining barn.
