Eco-Friendly, Original Features, Extensive Gardens
Tucked away at the end of a private lane, Old Pear Tree Barn is a peaceful sanctuary within easy reach of some of North Cornwall's best surfing beaches.
Elegantly decorated and environmentally friendly, this eco-barn-conversion* retains many of its original features, such as exposed timber beams and a vaulted ceiling. Luxurious soft furnishings and underfloor heating create a calming atmosphere, mirrored by the neutral colour scheme throughout.
Old Pear Tree Barn sleeps up to 4 people and can accommodate up to 3 pets, making it the perfect little family bolthole. Its master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed and fine linens, while the second bedroom features comfy twin beds. The open-plan kitchen affords plenty of space with its lofty ceiling and generous granite work surfaces and it's fully equipped with Bosch appliances, a Nespresso coffee machine and an array of larder essentials.
Outside you can look forward to far-reaching rural views across the valley to distant grassy dunes. Located within its own large private garden, guests are welcome to make the most of the property's extensive patios and lawns. Enjoy an al fresco breakfast, lunch or high-tea, or fire up the bbq to enjoy a balmy evening on the lawn.
Old Pear Tree Barn is only a short walk through a tangled orchard garden to the quiet village of Cubert. Here you'll find The Smugglers Den Inn, a charming 16th century thatched pub. They serve local food and real ales, surrounded by farmlands and open fields.
Neatly slotted between Perranporth and Fistral Beach, Holywell Bay is a 'best of both worlds' beach. It's ideal for surfers and beach goers alike and close to some of the area’s most popular restaurants and beachside attractions.
*The Old Pear Tree Barn uses smart technologies throughout and utilises a ground store heat pump to harness the heat in the ground.
