Hidden along the banks of the River Kennall you’ll find this extraordinary houseboat that’s perfect for your next Cornish adventure. Mistery 2 is a one-of-a-kind hideaway that has been carefully hand crafted by its creative owners, Mark and Loz. The couple have gone to great lengths to source and transform recycled materials to craft the boat’s unique interiors and magical outdoor space.
Inside, you’ll find two tastefully decorated bedrooms (or cabins), two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a living/dining space complete with a log burner for nights spent cosied up inside. Outside, the garden space is almost as impressive as the houseboat herself. Set within two acres of land, green pastures and river views provide the backdrop to your stay. Sit by the compass firepit and sip on G&Ts as you listen to the gentle sounds of nature.
Maverick tip
The internet is a little patchy, so be prepared for a bit of a digital detox during your stay. You can always make the most of your direct access to the river for paddling or kayaking (just be aware of tide times).
