In a creekside hamlet near the River Kennall, you’ll find Malmo in Cornwall. This light and bright converted stable block with Scandi-inspired décor is the brainchild of interior designers Becca and Heather, who came together to create something very special. Malmo is close to the beaches and cobbled streets of Falmouth whilst also being within easy reach of the north coast. The house sleeps four with one large double bedroom, a smaller twin room and two luxuriously renovated bathrooms. Upstairs, you’ll find the living space and kitchen, sharing a stunning double-height space with beamed ceilings and a unique, reclaimed wood feature wall. Huge original sash windows flood the space with light throughout the day and guests can hunker down in one of two comfy window seats filled with handmade linen and grain sack cushions. Alternatively, curl up on the enormous L-shaped sofa and flick through stacks of magazines or coffee table books.
Maverick tip
Head through the French doors off the bedroom into a pretty walled courtyard garden, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
