For the ultimate romantic retreat in North Cornwall, look no further than the gorgeous Lobster Pot. Just one mile inland from the secret Cornish bay of Porthcothan, this cosy cabin for two features rustic coastal interiors and a stunning private garden.
Inside the Lobster Pot you'll find an intimate living room, complete with a log burner, comfy two-seater sofa and 32-inch television. So when the weather is grey you can curl up under comfy blankets and watch Netflix or take advantage of the DVD selection.
The stylish kitchen offers everything you'll need to cook up dinner – as well as a Dolce Gusto pod coffee machine – and the wooden dining table can seat up to four guests (book Strand Line next door for larger groups). Meanwhile, Lobster Pot's large bedroom offers a sumptuous zip and link super king-sized bed with 400 thread count sheets.
The property also offers a quirky outdoor kitchen with a BBQ with a plancha grill, as well as a large decking area with table and chairs for two guests. The garden space is perfect for al fresco dining, so you can sit back and relax under the fairy lights and stars on a clear night.

You'll find 10 beaches within a 5 to 20-minute drive from the Lobster Pot cabin. Nearby Porthcothan beach is quieter than many of the better-known beaches and the tiny coastal village has a lovely hidden quality to it. Around the corner is the more popular Treyarnon Bay, with its beautiful golden sand and short scenic walk along the coastal path to the equally stunning Constantine Bay.
The North Cornwall town of Padstow is just a short drive from Lobster Pot, with its picturesque harbour and fine dining restaurants made famous by Paul Ainsworth and Rick Stein. In the other direction the gorgeous Watergate Bay is only a 15-minute drive, with Newquay a little further on offering great surfing and beach activities.
