Overlooking the sweeping valley and picturesque harbour of Port Isaac, Jasmine Cottage is perfectly positioned for a self-catering family holiday.
With its boutique shops, charming pubs, famous restaurants and working harbour; there are few destinations that are as quintessentially Cornish as Port Isaac. The village is best known as the location for the TV series Doc Martin (where you can spot Jasmine Cottage in the opening credits) but it has also been making waves in the Cornish food scene for the past few years. Guests can experience dining at its finest at Restaurant Nathan Outlaw or enjoy a more informal seafood experience at Outlaw's Fish Kitchen.
Inside this beautifully refurbished fisherman's cottage, you'll find a light-filled open plan living space, with original beams, Cornish sash windows and flagstone floors. There's a fully equipped modern country kitchen as well as a stylish living room with a log burner and commanding views over the valley.
French windows lead out to a rear patio garden with outdoor seating and steps leading up to an alfresco dining area with an outdoor sofa, barbecue, fire pit, and spectacular views over the harbour and out to sea.
The south west coastal path is accessible from the village. Walk north to Port Gaverne or follow the path south to Port Quin. Port Isaac is within easy driving distance of Padstow, Rock, Polzeath, Trebarwith Strand and Tintagel.
