Hotel Tresanton is a chic coastal retreat, situated in the picturesque Cornish town of St Mawes.
What was once a cluster of seaside cottages has been lovingly transformed into a characterful hotel by renowned hotelier and designer, Olga Polizzi. At its heart, St Mawes is a sea-faring community and this is beautifully reflected in Tresanton's style and location.
Each of the hotel's 30 boutique bedrooms and suites has been individually styled, many of which command splendid views across the water to the lush headlands of the Roseland Peninsula. Interior decoration is exquisitely done, as each room features a soft coastal colour palette and eclectic furnishings throughout. Tea trays and luxurious toiletries are provided for guests, along with dog beds and treats should you bring your canine companion with you.
Elsewhere, Tresanton offers its own onsite restaurant, a private dining room that can also be a private cinema, a Beach Club, a private sailing boat and a Dog's Bar!
Dining at Tresanton
You won't be short of ways to indulge during your visit. Dinner can be enjoyed in the candlelit restaurant year-round or can be taken on the terrace during the summer months. Afternoon tea is offered every day (no booking required) and four-legged friends are welcome to join you in The Dogs’ Bar. Here you can enjoy the same menu as the main dining room in a more informal setting, complete with an open fire and board games. Menus change regularly to offer the freshest, locally caught seafood.
