Sitting pretty within its own subtropical valley and boasting direct access to a private beach, Hotel Meudon is one of Cornwall's best kept secrets. This recently refurbished coastal retreat prides itself on providing an exceptional guest experience, from its unique setting to its first-class staffing.
Meudon's lush, subtropical gardens slowly meander down the valley, brimming with colourful and giant flora from across the globe. Inside, you’ll find light, airy accommodation that maximises the famous Cornish sunlight, with tastefully designed interior décor and furnishings selected with style and comfort in mind.
You won’t have to stray far from the hotel to enjoy wild swimming, snorkelling, kayaking and hiking. The hotel's private beach, Bream Cove, offers some of the cleanest and most sheltered waters in Cornwall. As it is located right on the Southwest Coast Path, you can kayak across the waters or walk around the Rosemullion headland towards the Helford River, taking in ancient woodland and fishing villages along the way.
Restaurant Meudon serves a refined menu of locally caught fish and seafood, seasonal game and produce grown in its very own gardens. Its floor to ceiling windows maximise the spectacular views and food is served from lunch through to dinner. Meanwhile, Freddie's Bar is the hotel's very own speakeasy-style cocktail bar. Its in-house original cocktails are some of the best in Cornwall, featuring premium spirits, locally-sourced artisan gins and wondrous whiskies served straight to your table.
