Located in an unassuming alleyway in the vibrant town of Bridport, Dorshi is a home-style East Asian-inspired kitchen. Everything – and we mean everything – that is used to craft their delicious dishes is sourced from within Dorset. That means the kitchen team are tasked with growing, foraging and sourcing the best the ingredients that the county has to offer. Everything from nettle leaves to pearl barley, Dorset cured meats, fish and vegetables find their way onto the table.
The menu is divided between tempting dishes like crispy or steamed dumplings, fluffy buns, noodle bowls and sides. As a rule of thumb, we’d recommend treating the menu like tapas and ordering a few different dishes to share between you. This way, not only do you get to sample more of the food on offer, but it also reduces the possibility that you’re going to get food envy...
Cocktail Bar
Upstairs, Dorshi takes on a whole different vibe with a stylish bar that serves a variety of delicious cocktails (many of which can be made non-alcoholic). There's also a menu of fine loose leaf teas (carefully selected by Comins Tea House of Sturminster Newton), sake, wine and beers.
