We think Bobby's is the future of brick and mortar shopping. Located smack bang in the centre of Bournemouth overlooking The Square, it bucks the trend of tired old department stores, bringing together independent businesses and offering a new, experimental retail experience.
The developers behind Bobby & Co recognise the importance of bringing the local community together, which is why they aim to host an ever-changing programme of events and activities throughout the year. They also understand that sustainability must become a new way of life rather than a passing fad. That’s why many of the products stocked within the store are locally sourced and can’t be bought or experienced online.
Amongst the very first businesses to grace Bobby & Co’s halls, there’s Drgnfly Sushi, In Time watch repair, GIANT Art Gallery and The South Coast Makers. There’s also an ice cream parlour and a fabulous Beauty Hall which houses global brands as well as sustainable and conscious beauty products, many of which are exclusive to Bobby’s.
Maverick tip: The ice cream parlour is a great spot to meet with friends. Not only do they sell delicious ice cream cones, but they also serve freshly ground coffee from local legends, Bad Hand, as well as freshly baked pastries.
