Comfort Charity Cookbook

Help us raise money for Hospitality Action with The Comfort Cookbook

Top chefs, food & drink producers, and industry insiders from across the West Country have come together in a show of solidarity in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.

What is the Comfort Cookbook?

We’ve pledged to create a digital cookbook as a snapshot of the unique and diverse food & drink culture we have nurtured here in the West Country, and the rich network of chefs, producers and pioneering entrepreneurs which together make the South West a world-class gourmet destination. Here are just a few of the chefs involved so far:

Michael Caines, Paul Ainsworth, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Nathan Outlaw, Jude Kereama, Ben Tunnicliffe, Mark Dodson, Mick Smith, Ben Prior, Simon Stallard, Emily Scott, Elly Wentworth, Madeleine Olivia, Tia Tamblyn, Philleigh Way Cookery School & Daaku.

Everyone involved in this project is giving their time and expertise free of charge, so that all funds will go directly to the Hospitality Action Covid19 Emergency Appeal.

How do I get my copy?

Rather than buying a copy, we invite you to pledge on a ‘pay what you can afford’ basis through our Just Giving page, because we want this book to be available to everyone in this time of financial hardship.

To those that can give more, please pledge generously to support people in the industry who have lost their livelihoods. Once you have pledged for your copy, you can sign-up to receive an alert when the book is ready for download: https://mailchi.mp/fd0aae2c0d46/comfort
