Loaf Dorset

Loaf, Salwayash

Few venues boast as much historic charm as this beautifully restored little granary in rural Dorset. Accessed by ancient stone steps, Loaf is small but luxurious. Its layout includes an open-plan sitting, dining, kitchen and bedroom area, as well as a generous en suite bathroom. In the sitting area you’ll find two comfy armchairs to sink into, as well as a selection of boardgames to enjoy during your stay. There’s also lots of lovely hand-chosen furniture pieces and a beautiful, wrought-iron king-size bedstead. Décor is decidedly country – with just a touch of whimsy – so expect rustic beams, wooden floors, and the occasional floral accent.

Loaf is set within the grounds of Kingsland Farm in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With panoramic views for miles and the sights and sounds of local wildlife on your doorstep, you can truly immerse yourself in the surrounding scenery. On a sunny day you can relax in your own private arbour, overlooking the stunning Marshwood Vale, or venture out to nearby Bridport to spend the day combing antique shops and vibrant market stalls. Whatever your holiday plans are, Loaf really is the perfect little bolthole from which to explore everything West Dorset has to offer.
