Hope Cove House is an inviting family-run hotel with stylish and arty interiors. Sitting in between pretty Salcombe (great for shopping) and Bantham, Hope Cove is popular with surfers and paddle-boarders alike.
Airy bedrooms are bright, with crisp cotton sheets and calming colours. Rooms aren’t furnished with televisions, but instead they offer stunning sea views overlooking Inner Hope’s sandy bay. Fall asleep to the sound of waves lapping in and out of the cove. Otherwise, you can extend festivities into the evening at their restaurant or bar. Food is expertly curated, seasonal and coastal, and they are partial to holding summer barbecues on their upper terrace. For lunch, expect dishes like hake with white beans, roast tomato and anchovies, or wild mushroom risotto paired with a wine from their impressively long list.
